“Family Harbor,” “we,” and “our” refer to the Family Harbor service. “You” refers to the individual or firm using the service. “Content” means data, documents, and other information submitted to the service. “Account” means your user profile and credentials.
Eligibility & Account Security
You must be authorized to use Family Harbor on behalf of your firm or yourself. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Subscription, Fees, and Trials
If applicable, paid subscriptions, fees, and trial terms will be presented at purchase. You are responsible for timely payment of any fees and taxes. We may change pricing with advance notice.
Your Content & Permissions
You retain ownership of your Content. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Content solely to operate and improve the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions to submit Content.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service. Prohibited activities include: unauthorized access, reverse engineering, interfering with service operation, uploading malicious content, or violating applicable laws or third-party rights.
Third-Party Services
Family Harbor may integrate with third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Disclaimers
Family Harbor provides software tools and does not provide legal advice. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Family Harbor will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, if applicable.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Family Harbor harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the service or your Content.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and provide notice where appropriate.
